South Florida Cat 5 has grown by leaps and bounds! Thanks to the interests and dedication of so many players, we have enough to start a league. Well Gay Bowl 2011 in Houston was an experience. It started out as Dust Bowl, then Wet Bowl and then No Bowl. Conditions were tough, but South Florida Cat5 played hard. Learned a lot and got to compete with some of the best teams in the nation.
Well, this year’s Sunshine Cup was better than ever! More teams, more boys and more football! Sounds like a winning combination, huh? If you didn’t make it, you missed out on a lot of fun! But don’t worry, there’s always next year! Congratulations to the NY Honey Badgers for taking home the title! And a big shout out to Javier Cavero for putting it all together!
